Q. I have a timed essay in my ethics lesson tomorrow and we are allowed to have a sheet of planning to work from. What sort of thing would be most useful? How do I plan an essay? I never normally plan essays I just write them and get good grades. Asked by Letitia L - Thu Nov 19 19:31:34 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. How long do you have, do you know the question? If not then allow 60-75% of the time for actually writing. Time yourself on how fast you write - you need to score points so each sentence must earn its keep. Once you have decided how many words you can write in the time then that will allow you to calculate roughly how many lines you can write. Look at your essays - how many paragraphs is that? So you have Intro, para 1 ... para n-2, conclusion where n is the number of paragraphs you can write. You may have certain things you need to consider in most essays - I haven't done your course so I don't know - you may be able to pencil these into your plan. Hope this helps Answered by kid on the block - Fri Nov 20 08:46:16 2009 From Yahoo Answer Search: "ethics" Ethics (from the Ancient Greek "ethikos", meaning "arising from habit"), a major branch of philosophy, is the study of value or quality.
